Our stay was absolutely perfect. The boathouse was stunning with picturesque views and privacy.
Daniella also very kindly had mosquito coils delivered to us when we let her know there weren’t any which we didn’t expect but appreciated.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a unique and romantic weekend away!
The fishing was fun too 🙂

Loved this place. location is ten out of ten. It is exactly as the photo’s show it to be. It’s private and quiet and the view and outlook is very peaceful. Make sure you have access to a boat to explore the sights and amenities of the river.

It was the most wonderful stay and Daniella was a very responsive host especially when I left my purse and glasses behind!
What a lovely way to celebrate our anniversary.
We had everything we needed, we couldn’t believe how quiet and relaxing it was and we felt very spoilt as we sat and had dinner on the deck with a beautiful view.
It felt like our own little paradise and we will definitely be back!

The villa boathouse was the quiet and relaxing experience we anticipated. We loved the decor and the view. We also loved fishing and kayaking! Caught tailor, bream and stingrays. Made sure they were all thrown back of course.

The perfect Airbnb!
Firstly, Daniella is a wonderful host — communicative, attentive, caring, friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything, Daniella! So grateful.
The property is a delight. The full length window-doors and side windows feel like you’re staying on water. The view is divine; so too the peace. There’s peace, privacy and chill in droves which was precisely what we were hoping for.
Upon arrival, nostalgic 40s-50s music greeted us which set the tone for our stay. The balcony hammock, kayaks, private jetties, subtropical grounds and communal sketch book were the sweetest details we never knew we needed!
Daniella recommended a local high tea which arrives by boat, sets up and leaves you to it. Superb on a misty afternoon.
My only suggestions for prospective guests is to book / check restaurant hours in advance. Definitely book a tinnie! Lots of fun.

We booked very last minute (the day before) and Danielle was quick and responsive and helpful making it so easy.
The villa is absolutely beautiful and nice and private. We fished, played pool and used the kayaks. Such a lovely get away and we will definitely be coming back.

Perfect spot to get away for our anniversary. Stunning boathouse renovation with everything you need for a relax and recharge. Beautifully decorated inside and spectacular scenery outside.

What a beautiful way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary! We saw The Villa and knew it was the best option. It was so lovely and quiet yet still plenty to do. We opted for the taxi and tinny package from the Hawkesbury river taxi company which worked out really well as it meant that we could boat around the area with ease.
The airbnb was beautifully set up and well kept. The only downside I could say was that the wifi only worked outside in front of the door (seemed like it didn’t want to go through concrete) but that really was the last thing on our mind so we didn’t really care too much.
We would highly recommend staying here as it was so beautiful.
